[Locked: April, Bakura/Malik] Dominion Trip!
Yugi is sitting in a couch in the Nexus, holding up a hand-written sign reading "April! :)", in a weird sort of homage to the way private drivers guide their customers to them at the airport. Yami's currently nowhere in sight, by virtue of the fact that he's pretty much still asleep, though he's aware that Yugi intended to try to take April to Dominion today. He'll likely wake himself up when April shows up.

Meanwhile, near Las Vegas, on the shore of Lake Mead, Ryou Bakura stiffens in surprise as he feels the presence of April's mind reaching out to find him.
"Bloody Hell..." he whispers out loud. His voice is tenor-pitched, and like his father, he has an English accent. Malik?
It's not me, Nekhnet, answers the spirit in a light baritone, also with an accent, though his is half-way between English and something else that's vaguely Arabic. His voice is also hoarse, as if he's permanently stricken with laryngitis.
(It's likely that April will be able to hear this exchange.)
Bakura nods absently, then tentatively reaches back to April's mind. Hello?

Returning the connection to Bakura's mind, April concentrated further. "Hello Bakura. My name is April."

Malik suddenly interrupts. Get out, he growls. Go away!
Malik! Bakura says, sounding aghast. Don't you at least want an explanation?
Not particularly.

Malik's growled response does alert the vampire inside her. And it readies itself to act, just in case.

Malik simply snorts, by way of commentary.
Meanwhile, Yami inhales and exhales slowly, then touches April's shoulder. "Tell him about what the Crawler said," he tells her quietly. "'The Shadow Games have already exacted Their revenge against my Vizier'. Malik might know what the Crawler was talking about."

"They had feared Malik had been attacked."

Malik is shocked into silence for several moments, which is saying something. It's difficult to pull something like that off with him. ...There was a moment, he says quietly, during the ritual. It felt like something had done the mystical equivalent of bumping me on the shoulder, trying to send me off balance in the middle of casting.
Bakura frowns. I think I remember that happening. You had an odd look on your face at the time... Did it work?
Obviously not, Nekhnet, or the ritual wouldn't have worked, Malik shoots back to Bakura. All I know is, afterwards, I was awake for 5,000 years. Unlike Tepeysa and the other Spirits.
