...Okay, kinda no point in portal-ing somewhere that's a few miles away from your last stop. We're in London now.

Kat and Bakura got all nostalgic the moment we realized where we were. We're all waiting in... what is it? Hyde Park, that's it! We're waiting in Hyde Park now for the sorceress to show up. Our turn to be on the defensive. For now most of us are in cool-down mode.

Last Sorceress was, in fact, and Death Eater, and Harry was the one who took her on. He's changed a lot since the books. But then, it's been more than 1,000 years since then.

Anyway. Yami and I have got some time to chat for now, if you want to.

April decides that since they have time, she will call back instead of sending a text message.

Yugi answers after the first ring. "Hey there."

[slayers_desire]

"Hi. How are you guys doing?"

[twinpharaohs]

"Not bad, all things considered," Yugi answers. "We're all just kinda... chilling out at the moment. I think Ed's teaching Kat some alchemy." He pauses, then asks, "How are you holding up? I mean, what with... what happened to Clark, and everything."

[slayers_desire]

"I... got kidnapped. I escaped the evil Clark and I got kidnapped by a cult of vampires." Not the kind of thing she wanted to admit over the phone.

[twinpharaohs]

"Oh my God! Are you okay?" Yugi asks, sitting up immediately. Yami darts over to Yugi when he hears the exclamation, kneeling beside his anchor to listen.

"April? Is everything alright?"

[slayers_desire]

"They... kidnapped me because they thought my baby was going to be their next God. And they didn't hurt me. But they were vampires... and they tried to feed me..."

"And... they brought in children..." April is trying hard not to cry over the phone right now.

[twinpharaohs]

A note of quiet rage creeps into Yami's voice. "Children... Ra's beak..."

Yugi shoots him a look, then replies, "God, April... I'm so sorry... if I could, I'd come and give you a hug, but... something's still cutting us off from the Nexus."

[slayers_desire]

"I didn't mean to just spit it out. It is just..." How can she describe the effects the smell of blood had on her.

"Clark and Victor saved me."

[twinpharaohs]

"No, it's fine," Yugi says, quietly. "We don't mind. I mean, I asked what was going on, didn't I?"

"So does... does that mean Clark's back to normal?" he asks tentatively.

[slayers_desire]

"Clark was always himself. He just... changed places with an evil alternate of himself. A Clark raised by Luthors. A Clark that didn't know me. Or care who I was."

[twinpharaohs]

"Right," Yugi says. "Sorry. What I meant was, is the original version back?"

[slayers_desire]

"He came back. He was in the other Clark's world for a bit."

[twinpharaohs]

Yugi lets out a relieved sigh. "Glad to hear that."

"What happened to the cult?" Yami asks quietly. The tone of his voice suggests he'd like to do some very violent and vengeful things to them.

[slayers_desire]

"Clark, Victor and the Scooby gang took care of them. They won't see another night." There is something in her voice that suggest the emotional pain involved, being so helpless.

[twinpharaohs]

"Good," Yami says, managing to get ahold of his anger.

"Is there anything we can do for you when we get back?" Yugi asks.

[slayers_desire]

"I realized that I can't deny what I am through this. And I know you guys respect that. So that will help..."

[twinpharaohs]

"That's good," Yugi says. "Are you sure there's nothing else we can do?"

[slayers_desire]

"Not with so much distance between us my friend. A good shoulder to cry on and a hug will be all I need when you get back."

[twinpharaohs]

Yugi smiles. "Then we'll be happy to oblige on both counts. We're always here for you, April, even when we can't actually... you know, physically be there."

[slayers_desire]

"I know. Thank you."

[twinpharaohs]

"Of course." He glances around, suddenly looking a bit anxious. "I think I just heard... that might be our sorceress. I should probably go..."

[slayers_desire]

"Be safe. And touch base when you defeat this one."

[twinpharaohs]

"We will. Talk to you later."
