Hey... Lot's just happened to us between now and when I last checked in. We're at our last stop, a parallel dimension called the Immortal Realms. For the moment we're staying with this (good) sorceress named Spinial Cala. She's also got some proficiency with fortune telling, and she told all of us our fortunes.

Me and Yami, we... had one that disturbed both of us on some level. When we get back, that's... something we'd like to talk to you about.

And... April, Yami and I had to kill someone for the first time today. The Warlock in Chicago. Her name was Aithne, she... she was torturing the others with visions of the people they loved the most dying. We were the only ones unaffected, so it was left to us to fight her, and... we had no choice, we had to kill her.

We've finally found out what's going on, who's behind all this. At least, we think so; Spinial had a theory. The sorceress we killed at New Year's, she had an apprentice named Contessa. Spinial thinks she's the one behind all this. This is her revenge.

She's powerful, and now we've got to fight her. We don't know what's going to happen tonight. We're all scared. But we're going to do our damndest to get through and see you again.

Gaaaaaah. Got slobbered on by the giant friendly mop that is Mouse. Gimme a second.

Okay! So we're in Chicago. Fight in Sunnydale went fairly well, all things considered. Lynn, Thomas, and their Guardian Honiahaka took our Witch on and kicked her butt right in time for moon-set, so Chris and Yashi are back in Half-Demon mode again.

Thomas's brother, Harry Dresden, is helping us track down our opponent here. Probably a Warlock. Makes me wonder which Law of Magic she broke...

Anyway. I think I can hear Dresden coming back up from his sub-basement, so I should probably head off. Next stop should be our last—check back in with you later!

Guess where we are? Sunnydale! And we just ran into your dad. Not your version of your dad, obviously, but it's still Spike. I'd guess we've got another Witch waiting for us.

Bad news is, we came out on the New Moon, so Inuyasha and Chris have gone into Human Mode. They're not going to be able to help us fight. Downside of them being half dog-demon.

Last fight really involved getting the whole teamwork thing down. Our sorceress had a bunch of mooks made of mirror shards, and every time we killed one, more would appear. We all fought. Had to be almost completely in sync with one another. Also the first time I saw Bakura cut loose with magic. He did this one thing where he made water appear out of thin air, then froze it around some mooks. Ed told us later he'd probably just condensed the water vapor in the air—and Bakura said that was about right. Another fight I'll have to show you some memories of later :).

...Okay, kinda no point in portal-ing somewhere that's a few miles away from your last stop. We're in London now.

Kat and Bakura got all nostalgic the moment we realized where we were. We're all waiting in... what is it? Hyde Park, that's it! We're waiting in Hyde Park now for the sorceress to show up. Our turn to be on the defensive. For now most of us are in cool-down mode.

Last Sorceress was, in fact, and Death Eater, and Harry was the one who took her on. He's changed a lot since the books. But then, it's been more than 1,000 years since then.

Anyway. Yami and I have got some time to chat for now, if you want to.

Hey, checking in again. We're in Surrey now. Had our fight against the Warlock in SF on the Golden Gate Bridge. Kat's team fought her, and the pavement on the bridge got really torn up, between all the alchemy and earth magic being used. Suppose we're going to have to get used to that kind of collateral damage with Ed (Kat's new Oracle) around.

Ed seems to be getting used to the idea of the supernatural. Or at least, he's adjusting enough to ignore his scientist's instincts screaming at him that what he's fighting shouldn't exist long enough to, well, fight it.

We suspect our opponent this time around may be a Death Eater, given where we are and who we've got with us. If it is, we're going to let Harry take care of her.

Hey April. It's Yami this time around; Yugi asked me to send you the update while he helps some of the others find more setting-appropriate clothing. Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, and Zelgadis are the main problem in that regard; they stick out like sore thumbs here.

'Here' is San Francisco, by the way. Obviously we dealt with that Dark Jedi, or we wouldn't be talking to you now. First time actually watching a lightsaber battle in person rather than on a TV screen, and it was just as amazing as one might expect. Terrifying too.

Anyway, not much of an update to deliver. We're not sure what kind of dark sorceress we're looking for this time around, but since we ran into the Halliwell sisters of Charmed when we got here, we're guessing Wiccan of one flavor or another.

...Dammit, have to go. Chris just ran off after something. She might've scented the sorceress. Catch you later!

Okay. Sorceress in Japan taken care of. Downside: new portal, new destination.

We're on Dxun. It's a jungle planet in Luke's home galaxy. ...You have seen Star Wars, right? Anyway, given that, it's likely we're up against a Dark Jedi.

(Actually, Dxun's a moon, but that's not important right now.)

Our Guardians finally showed up and explained what's going on, or at least, as much as they know about it. We definitely pissed someone off at New Year's, so that someone set a bunch of traps for us, each with a sorceress in it trying to kill us. We don't know who that someone is, but apparently, there are a total of 9 'traps', including the ones we've already gotten through.

So, six more to go, then.

Kat's also been made a Saviour. Apparently she was supposed to be right from the start, but Bakura ended up choosing me to replace him instead of her. I imagine the PTBs are a little annoyed at him for that, but they got around it. So, we got three newcomers to fill out Kat's team and one of my Guardians got moved over to her team.

The sorceress/Dark Jedi here is apparently content to wait on the defense instead of coming to us, so we spent the last several hours scouring the jungle for her. We're camped out now and most everyone else is trying to get some sleep. Our newcomers are still awake, and I can't sleep for the life of me; too anxious about the current situation.

[More static; Yugi's breathing fast and hard, but seems to be making an effort to stay calm.]

April. We got sucked through some kind of portal. Now we're in a desert. [Under his breath] Damn, I forgot how hot these places can be. [Normal volume.] Uh, trying to figure out where we are. Yami says it feels familiar, but can't place why.

Our Oracles are here, but our Guardians are AWOL. Even worse, Kat got dragged along for the ride. I don't want her to get caught in the cross-fire again.

We tried getting into the Nexus, but couldn't get through. We're cut off. I think something's after us, maybe in revenge for New Year's.

[Bakura's voice calls faintly in the background: "Yugi-kun!".]

[Yugi sighs.] I gotta go. I don't even know if you're receiving this. If you are... find a way to let me know.
